Needs no local power and has several weeks autonomy when the sun doesn't shine

Solar Power charges the onboard battery which powers the meter(s) and the onboard communications equipment. Optionally, AC with battery backup may be used instead of Solar. In either case, the unit will function for up to 20 days without external power or sun.

Fast and economical installation

The OtterDog™ Station was designed for rapid-installation in remote locations in order to keep installation costs to a minimum. It is easily mounted on a pole, wall or fence. The Station is pre-configured and thoroughly tested prior to shipping it to the metering site.
